AI can write the code. Can you ship the site?

Here's the honest answer: AI made typing cheap. It didn't make judgement cheap: knowing what a clinic's site needs to say, noticing a form that silently fails, putting the domain in the owner's name. That's what clients pay for, and it's what this book teaches.

One workflow, every project

The same loop we use to build and ship sites at PixelWebTech, written down step by step.

Brief
Plan
Build
Check
Ship

You'll write a brief file your AI tool reads first, make it plan before it codes, build in small reviewable steps, and run a quality gate that catches the problems AI tools create. Placeholders, broken links, heavy images and fake "it works!" claims get caught before your client sees them.

What's inside

13 chapters, in three parts: set up, build, get paid.

  1. Why now is the momentWhat AI tools really changed, and who pays for websites in India.
  2. The toolkitEditor, AI agent, Git, static hosting, domain. A setup that starts free.
  3. How AI coding agents actually work (and fail)The 7 failure modes you'll hit in week one, and the defence for each.
  4. Prompting that shipsA complete brief file, plan-then-build, and the prompts that work.
  5. Project: a local business site in a weekendWhatsApp click-to-chat, tap-to-call, maps, forms, structured data.
  6. The quality gate: you are the reviewer8 checks to run before every launch, with the exact commands.
  7. Deploy, domain and HTTPSGit-based deploys, preview links, DNS, security headers.
  8. Taking payments the right wayUPI vs gateway buttons, and the policy pages Razorpay checks for.
  9. Local SEO: getting found on GoogleGoogle Business Profile, consistent name, address and phone, local content.
  10. Finding clients: the demo-first methodBuild a sample before you pitch, plus a WhatsApp message that gets replies.
  11. Pricing, proposals and getting paidPackages, a one-page proposal, a 50/25/25 schedule, handling scope creep.
  12. Handover, maintenance and recurring incomeHand over honestly, then earn every month with a care plan.
  13. Your 30-day planOne small task per day, from setup to your first paying client.
Plus 4 appendices you'll reuse on every project: a copy-paste prompt library, a full launch checklist, 14 client onboarding questions, and WhatsApp scripts for asking for content, sending previews, collecting payment and getting testimonials.

A small sample from chapter 4

Most bad AI output comes from vague prompts. A small change in how you ask makes a big difference:

Vague"Fix the bug."
Ships"On iPhone Safari the menu doesn't close after tapping a link. Find why and fix only that."

Symptom, platform, and scope. "Fix only that" alone stops half the surprise changes AI tools make. And before you build anything, the book has you write a brief file like this:

# Goal of the site (in order)
1. Get WhatsApp messages and calls for appointments.
2. Show treatments and starting prices, to build trust.

# Tech rules
- Mobile first (360px). Total page weight under 1 MB.
- No placeholder text or fake reviews, ever.
- Every change: small, explained, list the files you touched.

Being straight with you

This will help if

  • You know basic HTML and CSS, or will learn it over a weekend
  • You want to earn from web work: freelancing, side income, or your first clients
  • You'd rather ship real sites than watch another tutorial

Skip it if

  • You want AI to earn money for you with no effort
  • You're a senior engineer looking for deep AI internals
  • You need a big custom app or e-commerce store (this book covers business websites)

Why we wrote this

PixelWebTech builds websites for Indian businesses. AI coding tools changed how we work: first drafts take hours now, not days. They also created a new kind of mess: sites that look finished and aren't.

This book is the process we use to get the speed without the mess, plus the business side nobody teaches: how to find clients, price the work, and hand it over so owners trust you and come back.

No hype, no "10 lakh a month" promises. Just a workflow that works, and templates you'll reuse on every project.

Questions people ask

How will I get the book?

As soon as the payment goes through, you land on a download page. It's a PDF, so it opens on any phone or laptop. Save it to your Files or Google Drive.

Which AI tool do I need?

Any tool that can read your project, edit files and show you the changes: Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar. The book teaches a workflow, not one tool, so it stays useful when tools change.

Do I need to pay for AI tools or hosting?

You can start with free tiers. The book avoids quoting tool prices because they change often. It tells you what to check before you pay for anything.

I'm a complete beginner. Is this for me?

You'll need basic HTML and CSS, or a weekend to learn them. After that, the book takes you from setup to a deployed site step by step.

Will I definitely earn money?

No book can promise that. The book gives you a proven process, pricing guidance and outreach scripts. Results depend on how many businesses you reach out to and the quality of what you ship.
